Sony blu ray players wifi
Hoping the older response that someone said it just start working again after a time will be the case. Otherwise this is the last Sony item I purchase. Any further insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated. I have 2 s model blu ray players that have the same issue currently. I am guessing that there is a update needed but there are no available updates on either player at this time. I have walked thtough all of the troubleshooting listed to no avail.

I bought this to replace a previous player which was physically too large. This player has a very small footprint, 23cm wide, The remote is a fairly standard Sony Blu Ray remote, it features the usual buttons for playing discs but also a Netflix button and a user programmable favourite button which is good as I use Amazon Prime regularly.
You have the option of connecting through a LAN or wirelessly and the connections are smooth with no buffering. Too many problems with this Blu-ray player from day one. First problem was it not working when I upgraded my PC to Windows Second problem is when streaming from my PC through the player to my TV, I encounter what I can only describe as a stuttering issue.
It'll be going along fine and then pauses on it's own, starts playing again, pauses again It's not a very good product and I wish I could get my money back. I purchased it on the recommendation of the sales associate at the store of purchase because I wanted a player with WiFi and Gracenote. I wasn't sure what to expect from such an inexpensive Blu-ray player, but so far I am pleased with this one. It starts up quickly, where my old player took several minutes to start up and become function.
Discs load and start playing quickly. The menus are easy to navigate. I miss having a display on the front of the player to indicate what is going on, but it's not too big of a deal. Also, it only has an HDMI output, so if you want to use this with an older TV that only has component video inputs, you will be out of luck.
My previous Blu-ray player had a complete range of outputs. I got this to watch a blue-ray that I was excited to get. Didn't want anything crazy expensive as I really don't watch movies much. I like that it has the ability to connect to wifi.
