The Colors look better on the player than here, since the "Calibration" is very different. The icons are not as close to the border as they appear, since the screen is surrounded by black. The Clip Zip's screen washes out in sunlight and can be hard to see. To deal with this, I've gone with a largely black-and-white approach, which makes it a little more readable when used outside on a bright day. I've also made volume changes much more apparent than on my Cleanscreen theme. Album art is still viewable by locking the screen.

This is actually my preferred theme, as I'm usually outside running when I'm using the Clip Zip. After selecting this theme, you may need to restart your device. Rockbox has a known issue in this regard with certain themes on the Clip Zip. According to the Rockbox manual, volume settings higher than 0 dB "raise the volume more than would otherwise be possible.

On the While Playing Screen, this theme provides only the most desired information, using a medium-sized open sourced anti-aliased font SourceSansPro, included. It displays album art, but only when you change volume or lock the device. On the FM Screen, the theme does not display RDS information it's too buggy in my region , but it will display any available preset information.

In designing this I drew upon the work of many others, especially Ludovic Jakimon aka lebellium and Nick Peskett. It is intended to mimic the Original Firmware's UI. The volume control icon is based on the Futurosoft icon theme by Sergio Sanchez Lopez. The WPS panels' background color is adjustable through global theme settings, as well as WPS foreground color except for the progress bar and main font.

Made the album art a tad bigger and moved it a little, next track line is now left of the art instead of below it. Redid the graphics in 24bit, too. The backdrop just looks a lot smoother when Rockbox dithers it down to the 16bits the screen will display.

Prior info: I listen mostly to Audio books and Podcasts and made this layout so that it looks pleasing to my eye and also can be seen clearly. It's good for music too, but it has just the info I like to see and I haven't placed info such as Year, Genre, Frequency etc in it.

Version 3. Slightly more baLanCeD. Centered the Clock, Date and Volume bar. A "screensaver" when in Lock position. I'm not sure how to describe this theme. It's sort of an homage to SETI.

I'm probably wrong, but I haven't seen a theme yet with an Animated Progress Bar. So, I made one, thanks mostly to Saint. There's a lot in here, that at first you really wont notice until you've used it for a while. The Bar on the right is the battery level, the volume bar will appear when needed.
