I looked over the website and was impressed with the wonderful color and detail the ships displayed. There are 42 classes and about individual ships and planes that will be added. From June 4th through June 11th we are having a Midway summer sale. Six new Jutland sets are now available for sale! In order to help reduce the number of units for the Jutland set we have decided to add, as an option, a set of 2 x 1 inch destroyer and torpedo boat counters.

Our final class of ships have been added to the preview. The 7 UK destroyer class images are complete. Never say never…we have added an additional 76 WWII units to the inventory. Just a quick note to tell you that the WWI Jutland naval wargaming set is in full production. Well it looks like we have finally completed our WWII ships.

An upload of 75 new Japanese and German ships is completed. In addition to the 54 new units in the Pearl Harbor set we are concurrently releasing more new units. The Battle Of Samar battle set includes 68 units 32 planes and 36 ships. The Guadalcanal battle set includes units surface ships and 36 aircraft and lets you recreate four complete WWII naval battles of the Guadalcanal campaign.

Below is a table of the class additions for the Guadalcanal and Pearl Harbor sets being released late next month. You are however not the only hero in this game; your opponent may and will try to disrupt your actions which may result in your attempt at flank speed backfiring because of an engine malfunction!

This dynamic, in combination with the activation-based game sequence makes sure both players stay continually involved in the game. It also allows the players to have just that little bit of extra influence on Lady Luck. Underlying all this are solid game mechanics for modeling surface combat, air attacks and submarine actions with a balance between simplicity, gaming comfort and realistic outcomes.

The game is freely available for download for everyone who wants to give it a try. Gaming aids and Datacards are provided for ease of play and for more competitive or casual types point-based Order of Battles are provided to give easy acces to historically plausible fleet lists.

Crowdsourcing is also one of the strategies employed to generate content, so if you got this special ship, scenario, campaign or other contribution to the system, join the community and make it part of the game!
